What is SYMPOSIA O8 ?

Now in its 5th year, this annual event is open to everyone, including university, tafe, high school students keen to pursue further education in the creative fields, teachers and industry professionals.

As in previous years, there’ll be up to twelve visiting artists, designers, illustrators, film makers, photographers, producers, animators and writers speaking at SYMPOSIA08.

Each will speak for about 40 minutes with an extra 15 to 20 minutes set aside at the end of each presentation for an informal Q&A session. The importance and value of these sessions can not be over stated - in short they are a great opportunity for those present to “rub shoulders” with some of Australia’s most talented and creative people in a casual and informal atmosphere.
